Minimalist Camping Gear Reviews
To go along with the small size and capacity of my CRF205L I'm downsizing my camping style and gear as well. I have done the big group camping trips for years and most people are familiar with the large tents that say they can sleep 10 but really fit about 4 comfortably, the standard two burner propane stove, camp chairs, air mattresses, and the huge list of novelty camping items the big box stores want to sell you. All while hauling it all into state and private campgrounds in the back of your SUV or truck. Not that any of that is bad, I'm just trying to do it differently and hopefully more simply.
The following posts will be about smaller, multi function, or simpler camp items that you can fit in a small saddle bag and drag way way back into the woods while hopefully being comfortable and having some fun.
